We have already said in a different news update how busy we have been so far in 2013. Here is some more insight into what our team of engineers have been up to this month.
Ireby
Private Client – Plumbing & Heating Renovation.
In Ireby we are working for John Wellbank at Ruralfutures (North West) Ltd. We are excited to work with John on this personal project to carry out the installation of a solid fuel central heating stove and combine the hot water from the Rayburn cooker into one source for hot water taps. The central heating will be provided from the wood burning stove only. Towel rails will work on gravity to be constantly warm, this system is an open vented system with expansion and cold water storage tanks sited in the loft space. We are also installing a new Bathroom.
Wray
Private Client – New bathrooms.
In Wray we are working for a private client to install two bathrooms, a new family bathroom and en-suite, we are doing a complete bathroom installation including plastering and tiling. We have just received plans to price for a additional alteration works for a bathroom on the second floor.
Keasden
Coppy House – Private Client – Barn Conversion.
In Keasden, we are seeing the near completion of a barn conversion for private clients. Wheildons have installed an LPG gas central heating boiler, underfloor heating, a family bathroom and en-suite on the first floor including tiling, and a wet room on the ground floor with ground floor tiling in the hallway.
Bentham
Glebe House – Fred Hall Project – Commercial – School.
A second size-able project with Fred Hall for the Witherslack Group. This project will see the creation of a second private residential school in Low Bentham. Working alongside Fred Hall, Wheildons have installed all the plumbing and heating required for this project. Built in the grounds of the old Bentham Grammar School Field, the now named Glebe House will become a private residential primary school for the Witherslack Group. For this project Wheildons have installed a new gas main, an energy efficient instantaneous hot water gas boiler and LST (Low Service temperature) radiators on the second floor, underfloor heating on the first floor with associated plant and pipework, along with plumbing for nine bathrooms including shower units, sinks and toilets with walnut surrounds.
Staveley
New Hall Farm – Fred Hall Project – Renewables for New Build.
Wheildon’s are currently working in Staveley on another Fred Hall project for a Private client to install a renewable heating system. This project involves Wheildons Installing a ground source heat pump using a horizontal slinky or coil system rather than vertical bore hole. Wheildons have installed all the plumbing and heating for the ground source heat pump, plant and pipework, alongside underfloor heating and bathroom Installations.
